From Bermuda Run Town Manager, Lee Rollins

In response to questions from the Thursday morning Winston-Salem Journal article touting a mega sports complex planned in Bermuda Run and specifically, a sentence in the article that states, “emergency vehicles would have a access on a third road through Kinderton Village”, please be advised of the following statement released this morning from Mr. Jason Tutterow, a representative of Carolina Athletic Performance:

“Carolina Athletic Performance is excited to add this great asset to the Town of Bermuda Run to have a huge impact on the community. As part of the ownership group, I wanted to address that a site plan has not been approved by the Town of Bermuda Run and some of our plans are still in the conceptual phase. Therefore, some of the comments made about access points have not been confirmed, nor are they part of our current plans, specifically and emergency access point into Kinderton, and a northern connection to Yadkinville Road. We will, however, be working together with BB&T Sports Park through Twins Way, and collaborate on many of our efforts”.

To reiterate, the Bermuda Run Town Staff has not received a formal site plan package of this project for review.
