It’s a great time to work in the yard, spruce up porches /patios and get to know each other better. There is that on –going maintenance stuff like power washing and gutters, but some of you may have other changes in mind.

BEFORE WORK BEGINS

• Members of the ARC are Kinderton Village property owners. Simply put, they are your neighbors and they want to ensure that Kinderton Village remains an attractive, comfortable, and inviting place to live. The ARC is chartered under the Kinderton Village covenants which designate the group to assist homeowners in adhering to the building and landscaping restrictions as stated in the covenants and architectural/landscape guidelines, and with defining the aesthetic details of those restrictions.
• As a Kinderton Village resident or property owner, there is one document with which you should be very familiar: ARC Guidelines. This document provides detailed information regarding restrictions on external (building and landscaping) changes. The guidelines were approved by the Kinderton Village Master Board of Directors and the KV HOA attorney in 2014, and have been in force since that time. You may notice items or materials that have been grandfathered since they were allowed by older guidelines. However, any replacements must adhere to this more recent document. Please read it thoroughly before sending in a proposal.
• The goal of the ARC is not to make property modifications hard, but to protect property values in Kinderton Village and to make KV the kind of community in which we, and potential residents, all wish to live.
